2004 BUK FAIS Alumni Donates 50,000 to Each Deceased Member’s Family

The Bayero University Foculty of Arts and Islamic Studies 2004 Alumni has presented a Cash of fifty thousand Naira to each family of deseased members.

The chairman of the association Suleiman Muhammad Adamu announced this during it’s 11th Annual General Meeting AGM held in Kano.

According to him the gesture is aimed at Maintaining cordial relationship between the association and the deseased family members and by extension the school (BUK).

Sulaiman then urged members of the association to sustain the mutual brotherhood enjoined on the university Campuses up to their families.

“The association was established over a Decade with the aim of maintaining this cordial relationship between our selves.”he said

“During this year’s event each family of deceased of our alma mater received the sum of 50.000 Naira as way to show our concern for them”, Sulaiman Adamu added.

The chairman commended all members of the association for their support and cooperation when ever the need arises.

Also commenting, the organizing secretary of the meeting Shehu Sani Shehu said this year’s event were conducted both physical as well as visually as some members of the association overseas participated fully.

In a remark, the secretary of the forum Abubakar Lamido said the forum comprises members of six Department from the Foculty which include mass communication, Nigerian Languages, Arabic, Islamic Studies, English Languages, and History Department.

After the event, a football match were played between members and the executive of the association.
