Badume Market Fire: Bichi Emir Commiserate With Victims, Calls For Emergency Aids

The Emir of Bichi in Kano state Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero described the recently fire out break at Badume market in Bichi local Government area as threads to the economy of the emirate and it’s people.

The Emir who paid a sympathy visit to the market lamented that the loss incurred courtesy of the inferno, calling for stakeholders to send emergency aid to those affected by the incident.

The royal father represented by the Dandarman of Bichi and district Head of Bichi Alhaji Abdulhamid Ado Bayero stated that he was disturbed by the news of the unfortunate incidence.

The Emir said that Badume market is one of the biggest markets in Bichi Emirate, therefore the Emirate will embark on efforts to upgrade the standard of the market.

He appealed to Bichi local Government council and Kano state Governments to offer emergency aid to the victims of the inferno.

The emir prayed that the Almighty Allah will bring succour to the victim and protect the emirate from witnessing future reoccurrence.

In a remarks, the Vice chairman of Bichi local Government, Alhaji Idris Muhammad, who conducted the monarch round the affected areas in the market said the local Government has set up a panel to investigate the root cause of the incident.

Muhammad further disclosed that serious investigation will be carried out to find out what lead to the incident, pledging that finding a lasting solution against future occurances.

During the visit, special prayers were conducted to seek for Allah’s forgiveness and repose for the soul of those that lost their lives in the incident.
