The Federal High Court Kano on Wednesday, dismissed a case filed by Jafar Sani Bello, who is challenging the  membership legality of Muhammad Sani Abacha as legally recognised member of Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
In an  Originating summon, Sani Bello alleged that Abacha didn’t follow the procedure to register his membership at Local Government and ward levels  respectively.
In his judgement via Zoom, Justice Liman disagreed with Jafar Sani Bello, upheld  that there was a waiver from the National level of PDP, stating  that the respondent submitted the waiver to the court as exhibit.
The presiding Judge also said the National leaders of PDP gave waiver to every candidate intended to register with the party and allowed to contest accordingly.
He maintained that the particular waiver covered Muhammad Abacha to contest any position in (PDP).
He also said the court agreed with the respondent’s submission that he was screened by National leaders of PDP.
The court accordingly, dismissed the case of Jafar Sani  Bello  and affirmed that Muhammad Sani Abacha is legally member of PDP
