CAN Reacts To Christmas Eve Killings In Plateau

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN has condoned with the victims of the Christmas Eve killings in Plateau State.

The assailants attacked Ruku, Hurum, Darwat, Mai Yanga Sabo, NTV, and Lisham Kwahasnat community in Mangu local government area of the state.

In a statement signed by the President of CAN, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, “the loss of lives, is a devastating blow to our collective peace and unity”.

According to the document by the apex christian association in the nation, houses and worship centers were burnt, while properties worth millions of naira was destroyed in the attack.

Archbishop Okoh commend the swift response of the security agency and urged for intensified efforts in intelligence gathering and proactive interventions to pre-empt and forestall such dastardly acts in the future.
