Chief Imam FUT Minna Bosso Campus Asks People From The North To Come Together To Salvage The Region

The Chief Imam of Federal University of Technology Minna Bosso campus in Niger state Dr. Muhammad Bashir Y’ankuzo has appealed to the entire people of Northern extraction to come together towards addressing the myriads of problems bedeviling the region.

He said, the time for apportioning blames on each other is over but it is now time for action to salvage the future of the region and that of our children.

The Chief Imam made the appeal yesterday during a religious gathering at the Federal University of Technology Minna Bosso campus.

Dr. Muhammad Bashir Y’ankuzo lamented that before there was problem of people in North sending their children to schools but the problem now is that of bandits abducting our children at schools and universities which must addressed once and for all.

He also spoke on the fallen and detoriorating condition of the behaviours of our children across Northern region that had further worsened the problem of insecurity militating against our smooth operation which to a large extent hinders our level of development as a region.

According to Dr. Muhammad Bashir Y’ankuzo to address current societal problems parents teachers lecturers traditional rulers politicians and all stakeholders in the region must work as a team to work out an acceptable formular that would helped to mitigate this problem.

Apart from poverty, the Chief Imam Federal University of Technology Minna Bosso campus also lamented over the increase of prices of goods and services that have made the living standard of people but from Northern and other parts of Nigeria very unbearable.
