Civil Servants Best Benefits Democratic Governance, says Kano HoCS

The Kano State Head of Civil Service, HoCS Usman Bala Muhammad has reaffirmed that civil servant across the nation best benefits democratic governance.

In a statement issued to newsmen in commemoration of Nigeria’s Democracy Day celebration, falling every 12th of June, and signed by the Director Public Enlightenment, Office of the Kano state Head of Civil service, Hajiya Bintu Nuhu Yakasai, added that civil servants are the implementation agents of programs and projects of the elected officials.

The HoS double as Chief of Staff, Kano state Government House spoken through his Director Public Enlightenment highlighted the fact that civil servants are the necessary organ of democratic governance, a position that made them worthy of celebrating Democracy Day side by side with elected officials.

He elaborated further that civil servants together with elected executive officials, most specifically progressive governors have done so much to their states looking at the rapid developments recorded in such states as one could testify while visiting these states.

According to him in each state where there is cordial working relation between civil service body and executive officials a lot could be found to have achieved in that place.

Bala sighted example with his home state of Kano where not only loyalist of the government even an opposition agreed that the present administration has uplifted the state in terms of infrastructure and human capital development.

Usman Bala maintained that Kano state government hasn’t taken its civil service organ lightly, in fact it recognized them in every proposed development work, saying such gesture have reverberated and makes them felt inclusive in running the state.

He said most especially under progressive governors states have no doubt witnessed extreme engineering works unlike in the previous administrations where a lot of funds misappropriated and a case of misplaced priority leave the states at receiving end.

“Fly overs and under passed bridges constructed in Kano-Maiduguri road among other progressive states, cum establishing colleges of higher learning and real human capital developments, projects and programs are game changer to Nigeria of every progressive dream.

He described the Nigeria’s Democracy Day of every 12th of the month of June as something so huge to celebrate.

Bala finally celebrated with every civil servant across the country and the rest of Nigerians doing so well overseas, saying Nigeria is everyday becoming greater republic, especially with the recent peaceful presidential primary election of the ruling party.
