Delta 2022 NSF Update: Kano Wins 8 Gold Medal

The 21st edition of National sports festival NSF currently taking in Delta state has enter day Nine.

Kano state Para-Athletics player Suleiman Taiwo won a two gold medals in the Day eight of the competition.

Similarly Olajunwa Kehinde Olateju win a gold +75kg female category after beating Abia state at the Kumfu games.

Meanwhile, Jumoke Adekoye has won one gold medal in 55kg wrestling and also Omotoshe Tomitoke clinch a silver medal after coming second in the final para-athletics.

Also, Kano Pillars Handball reached final after defeated Niger state 28-27 in the semi final match on Tuesday and they will be battling for gold medal against host Delta on Thursday.

The two Kano state traditional Kokawa players have qualifier for the final.

Kano has so far won Eight gold medals, 19 silver and 16 Bronze.

The host Delta state continues toping the medals table with 129 gold, 68 silver and 45 bronze medals while Bayelsa and Edo state are second and third position with 31 and 24 gold medals respectively.
