The Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Right, Honourable, Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari have urged Nigerians to continue prayers even after the month of Ramadan for peace to rain in the country.
In a statement released and signed by Director Press, Kano state House of Assembly Uba Abdullahi said, Hamisu Chidari stated this in his Sallah Message to the Muslim Ummah in Kano and the country at large.
Chidari said the judicious used of Month of Ramadan by the good people of the State is a typical example of the people deep concern on the current insecurity situation that the nation find itself, as he urged the people to sustain the tempo even after the month of Ramadan, pointing out that constant prayers to Allah S.W.T out any situation that one find himself is a Prophetic saying in Islam as such Prayer remain the surest way out of the insecurity situations that we find ourselves.
Commenting on the Eid-fitr, the Speaker congratulates the Muslim Ummah, revealing that ” On behalf of my self,the Principal officers of the Honourable House, Respected members of the House, Chairman and Members of the House of Assembly Service Commission, Clerk/Head of Legislative Service and all the staff of the House, we are extending our Sallah Message to our Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his Deputy, Dr Nasir Yusif Gawuna, State Chairman of our great Party(A.P.C.) Alhaji Prince Abdullahi Abbas and all the Party Executives in the State as well as Members of the State Executive Arm of government along side our Emirs in the five Emirate Councils and the good people of the State we solidly congratulates them on the Sallah Celebrations and Edil Fitr”
Chidari salutes the Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for transforming the State to a role model among it’s contemporaries on all matters related to socioeconomic and political development, as well as his strong support to all security agencies toward discharging their duties of maintaining laws and order in the state.
He further applaud the good initiatives and directives by the Party Chairman on banning of posters in religious places and holding of arms by the youth in what ever capacity, stressing that the able Party Chairman is a great leader worthy of emulation.
He equally commended all the security agencies for their uprightness in ensuring lasting peace during and after Sallah Festivities which he described as a gaint step toward sustaining the tempo of the State as the most peaceful in the nation.
The Speaker, further assured the state Governor and good people of the State, that the House of Assembly will continue to support the developmental statures put in place by the state government at any given time.
He lastly congratulates the people of Makoda/Dambatta and the good people of the State for witnessing this year’s Edil Fitr and pray to Allah the Most Merciful to bring an end to this insecurity and to blessed the state and the nation in general.
