Eidl-Kabir: Dr Kabo Calls for Brotherhood, Fervent Prayers for the Country

The Kano state hospital management board have call on Muslims in the country to be showing sense of brotherhood by giving out some portion of their sacrificial meat to the needy and less privileged among themselves for them to also celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir joyfully.

The Director General (DG) of the Board, Dr. Nasiru Alhassan Kabo, made the call in his Sallah message to Muslim faithfuls to mark its celebration globally.

In statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Board Ibrahim Abdullahi said, Dr. Kabo stated that this is a sacred period where Muslims are required to put smiles unto the faces of their brothers as recommended in Islam.

The DG went further to say that people shouldn’t be forgotten of the plight of others as Nigeria is in trying times that intricately put it under siege of enormous challenges, socially and economically, such as insecurity, unbearable inflation of foodstuff and daily needed commodities as well as other misfortunes that poise serious threat to its sovereignty.

He maintained that the country is in dire need of ceaseless prayers of all citizens in respective of religious, sectional and regional barriers, buttressing that “Nigeria belongs to us all.

“We have no country than Nigeria”. “It is therefore imperative upon us to do all we can to make it secured and peaceful.”

Dr. Kabo assured people that he is optimistic things will change for better for the country by the grace of Allah, stressing that Allah has promised in His Glorious Book that “With the hardship there is relief.”

On Sallah celebration, the DG has extended his heartfelt felicitation to the Governor of Kano State, His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Abdullahi Ganduje by saying “Let me, on behalf of my family, management and entire staff of the Board, reverentially extend my best wishes to Khadimul Islam/Khadimul Lafiya, his family, members of the State Executive Council, leadership of our great party the APC and entire people of the state especially the Kabo inhabitants on this serene Eid-el-Kabir merriments. May Allah accept all our sacrificial obligations as an act of worship”.

Dr. Kabo advised people to ensure their sacrificial meat is in good condition of health and kept in safer places so as to be protected against flies and other harmful insects that may contaminate it and cause havoc to their health as a result.

He further advised them to dispose off animals’ feaces appropriately as soon as possible and the place be washed thoroughly with clean water and enough detergent so that the stained-blood and odour get nowhere to stay.

“Meat should properly be fried up, kept in clean containers and placed where fly and its likes could not get access to pollute it.

“People should avoid consuming excessive and hot meat as it may harm the stomach. Any sign of illness should quickly be reported to the nearest health facility”, said the DG.

Dr. Kabo then reminded people of the state to continue observing Covid-19 protocols because it is a period of mingling with one another though, _alhamdu lillah,_ daily tally shows drastic reduction of the pandemic, yet this shouldn’t be taken as granted.

He commended Governor Ganduje for his unwavering support to the healthcare system of the state at all times, stressing that “Our leader is a Governor of intellect, commitment and focus to health sector who accords uppermost priorities to care of his people He deserves all the accolades”.
