Embrace Agriculture For Economic Development of the Nation – Aisha Tata Tells Corps Members

The Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps in Kano Hajiya Aisha Tata Muhammad has described agricultural development as a way of uplifting the country’s Economy in the eyes of the world by providing  food security.
 Hajiya Aisha Tata Muhammad made the remarks at the graduation ceremony of 7 NYSC members at the Leventis Foundation School, Panda in Albasu Local Government Area of ​​Kano State.
She said agriculture was now a priority in the world and urged the trained Corps members to make adequate utilization of the experience they acquired during the training, with the aim of uplifting Agricultural development Nationwide.
Tata Mohammad advised the graduates not to misuse the golden opportunity, especially pastoralism, stressing that the opportunity will help them to become self-reliant and addressed the problem of food scarcity in the country.
The NYSC Coordinator congratulated the corps members for completing their national service successfully and hoped that the school would continue to train corps members in agriculture.
Addressing the gathering, the Permanent Secretary of the Kano State Ministry of Agriculture, represented by a Director in the Ministry, Alhaji Abdulkadir Sanusi Madobi, congratulated the Corps members for the successful completion of their 1-year national service and urged them to utilize the experience they acquired, geared toward  Insuring that they become self-reliant.
Earlier the Principal of the Leventis Foundation, Malam Bashir Bala Imam, commended the commitment and dedication of the corps members in modern farming, saying if they continued to implement the experience they Acquired the stated goals would be achieved.
Muhammad Najib Abdulsalam and Paul ugoji Onyedikachi were among the 7 Corps members who received the one-year training at the Leventis Foundation School, they said the training had built their capacity in modern Agriculture.
They assured that they will use the experience they acquired during the training to become self-reliant and employers of Labour.
