Flooding, Building Collapse: Kano NYSC Coordinator Sympathizes with Govts, Residents

The NYSC State Coordinator, Hajiya Aisha Tata Muhammad, staff and Corps Members have sympathized with governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Management of Kantin Kwari Market and Kano residents over the recent flooding that ravaged the market and some local government areas.

In a statement personally signed by the Coordinator and made available to journalists in Kano, Aisha Tata has also symphasized with those affected directly or indirectly by the floods.

The Coordinator expressed her grief over the flood witnessed in some parts of the state

She then, appealed to residents to avoid dumping garbages in water ways to avert future occurrences.

Hajiya Aisha Tata stressed the need for residents to continue to cooperate with the government to solve the problems of floods that had rendered many homeless and destroyed valuable properties.

In the same vein, the state coordinator expressed her deep sympathy over the recent collapse of a building at the prominent Beruit GSM Market in Kano metropolis.

She prayed for Allah to prevent the occurrence of such devastating tragedy in the state.

The coordinator then prayed for speedy recovery of the injured and those who lost their lives, “may Allah SWT make Aljannah their final home”, said Aisha Tata.
