Four LGEAs in Kano Metropolis to Experience Power Outage — KEDCO

The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) says some parts of Four local government areas in Kano Metropolis to experience power outage as a result of fault from the 60MVA transformer at Dan Agundi transmission station which had affected Zaria road and CBN 33kv feeders.

This was contained in a statement signed by Deputy General manager cooperate communication of the KEDCO Ibrahim Sani Shawai which was made available to Radio Nigeria Pyramid FM Kano.

The affected local government areas to include Farm Center, Kar-kasara and Tarauni in Tarauni local government area, Nassarawa GRA and Hotoro in Nassarawa, Naibawa ‘Yan Lemo in Kumbotso and Masarauta in Kano Municipal local government areas.

The statement read “As a result, the following areas will remain out of supply until after Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) must have rectified the problem: Farm Center, Tarauni, parts of Nassarawa GRA, Hausawa, Hotoro, Kar Kasara, Sallari, Unguwa Uku, Naibawa, Yan Lemo, Masarauta all in Kano State”.

“However, the TCN crew are currently working to address the challenge”.

“We kindly apologies to our numerous customers for any inconveniences in this regard”.
