The Gardener’s Association of Nigeria Kano state branch, has alerted the Kano state government, Security agencies, its members and the general public over influx of people to from neighbouring states with security challenges.
The chairman of the Association Alhaji Aliyu Shehu Kabara, disclosed this in a statement made available to Journalists on Wednesday.
“It has come to our notice that there are influx of people from less security States into Kano and our kind of job seem to be an easy target, we are by this release drowning the attention of our teaming clients and members that coution should be observed”.
Kabara, also drew the attention of their members and clients, that they should take precautionary measures, in regards to new gardeners requesting for services or any thing else.
The statement further warned members of the association, to request for identity and association registration of any stranger seeking for their rendered services to various clients in the state.
The association however, dissociated itself from any eventuality, saying it would not be held responsible for negligence.
“We issue IDs to our teaming memberships and their wards”. “So be warned to blame yourself and we will bear no responsibility for neglect as such we are vhemently calling our members whom don’t have register to do it and obtaining an I D is important to each and every Gardner to save guard his integrity”.
The statement further reminded citizens across the state, to be security conscious in order to save Kano and enhance it’s security.
