Garko Wins First Position in Just Concluded Agric Show in Nasarawa State

Three local government areas from Kano state won trophies in the just concluded year 2022 national agricultural show that took place in Karu local government areas of Nasarawa state.

Garko local government emerged the first position among the 774 local government areas of the country that participated in the show followed by Ajingi with the second and Gezawa local government area with third positions respectively.

This was contained in a statement signed by Information Officer, Kano state ministry for local government and chieftaincy affairs Lawan Hamisu Danhassan which was made available to Journalist in Kano.

The statement said, speaking while receiving the the trophies on behalf of the commissioner ministry for local government and chieftaincy affairs, the director Agric services Alhaji Ibrahim Lawan represented by his deputy, Alhaji Dahiru S. Ibrahim attributed the success of the local government areas to their commitment and dedication.

He therefore commended the effort of His Excellency the executive governor of the state Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje through the ministry for local government and chieftaincy affairs for providing all the necessary assistance that enable the state to participate in the annual event.

Alhaji Ibrahim Lawan further said the event which serves as a medium for interaction, exchange of ideas and display of agricultural potentials of the state will also enable the participants to acquaint themselves with modern agricultural technologies to boost their farming system.
