Gawuna Donates 6.3 Million Naira To Beneficiaries Of KASSOSA Skills Acquisition Programme

Kano State Deputy Governor and APC Gubernatorial Candidate Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, has donated the sum of Six point three million Naira to the beneficiaries of youths skills acquisition programme initiated by the Kano Science Schools Old Students Association (KASSOSA).

Gawuna who made the donation on Sunday during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of KASSOSA held at the Yusuf Maitama Sule University stated that skills acquisition programmes are vital for economic growth as it provides job opportunities to the youths and makes them self reliant.

He enjoined the beneficiaries of the programme to exhibit patience and strive hard so as to be successful in their endeavours.

The Deputy Governor also commended KASSOSA for its foresight in creating programmes that will enhance the lives of its members.

He further encouraged the members to redouble their efforts towards supporting their alma mater.

Speaking, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KASSOSA, Dr. Muhammad Dahiru Shehu, expressed appreciation to the entire members for the cooperation they give to the association to achieve its objective.

Highlight of the occasion include the presentation of award to the Deputy Governor for his tremendous contribution and support to the association.
