The Kano state Head of Civil Service (HoS) have urged Kano Internal Revenue Services (KIRS) to focus on Generating more revenue so as to Funds Infrastructural Projects across the state.
In a statement signed by Director public enlightenment, office of head of Service Bintu Nuhu Yakasai quoted the new Head of Civil Service, Usman Bala Muhammad as making the called to the management of (KIRS) to adopt new measures in generating more revenue.
According to him, the present State Government need more revenue to be able to complete on-going infrastructural projects and sponsor programs across the State.
Usman Bala then assured them of his resolve to increase the number of reliable and productive staff to be able to rid redundancy and meets the needed requirements.

Earlier, the Executive Chairman of KIRS, Abdulrazak Datti Salihi assured the new Head of Civil Service of their support and cooperation.
Datti Salihi said the board is now in Cooperation with competent staff and also himself improved in order to generate more revenue for the State for the benefits of Kano populace.
