Governor Uzodimma Salutes People and Government Of Yobe State for Accommodating Imo Indigenes

Imo State Governor and Chairman Progressive Governors Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma has commended people and government of Yobe State for their hospitality to the People of South-East Region.

Governor Uzodimma made the commendation at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by-election campaign for Yobe East Senatorial Districts in Damaturu, Yobe State Capital.

He added that, Governor Mai Mala Buni,has been part of the history of the All Progressive Congress APC.

Earlier Speaking, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje congratulated the Government and People of Yobe State state over the inauguration of the campaign of Yobe East Senatorial Districts (Zone A).

He said, the party’s national leadership had always acknowledged and appreciated Yobe state’s commitment to the development of the party.

In his remarks, Gov Mai Mala Buni Thanked the APC national chairman, the chairman of the progressive governors forum and other guests for the support and solidarity.

He enjoined the people of Yobe East Senatorial District to come out en mass and cast their votes on the by-election day.

He also warned them not to give to opposition party an opportunity to represent them at national level.

It was reported that Musa Mustapha, the former Finance Commissioner had been declared the winner of the APC primary for the Yobe East Senatorial by-election scheduled for February.

Mustapha is running to replace Senator Gaidam, who represented the Yobe East Senatorial District before his appointment as the Minister of Police Affairs by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
