The Senator representing North-West from Jigawa State Babangida Hussaini said he has been able to fulfill most of the giant projects in his first six months in office.
Babangida Hussaini who is the Wali of Kazaure stated this in an interview with Radio Nigeria Pyramid reporter Kabiru Muhammad Getso in his office in Abuja.
Hussaini said, the projects he gave priority in his constituency include healthcare delivery, education, provision of portable drinking water, and employment opportunities to teaming youth.
He said, the success was as a result of the blueprint of developing the constituents even before he clinched the seat of Senator.
Babangida Hussaini added that, the State Government is doing its best to improve the standard of living of people by providing the needed social amenities.
“This is something they have been working on since our inception early this year, but there are lingering issues of the economy ranging from dropping in the internally generated revenue (IGR), overpopulation which the need for the Federal Government to intervene is a must.
“In the healthcare sector, everybody knows the contribution of women in the election processes, and they are the most vulnerable in our community, that is why plans are underway to upgrade the healthcare centers so as to reduce the number of maternal mortality in our area”.
Senator Hussaini reiterated his commitment to supporting the students of health colleges with registration fees so as to ease their suffering.
“We so much need young men and women from such health Institutions that will man our primary health care centers and other hospitals”.
Honorable Babangida promised to leave no stone unturned and synergize with other stakeholders in order to achieve the essence of democracy.
