Kano MOE Releases Joining Instructions (JI) For Free Distribution To Pupils

Kano State Ministry of Education has completed arrangements for free distribution of Joining Instructions (Admission Notice) to the pupils proceeding to Secondary Schools across the state.

The State Commissioner of Education Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa disclosed this while briefing newsmen on the commencement of this year’s Junior and Senior Secondary Schools admission exercise.

In a statement signed by Director Public Enlightenment State Ministry for Education Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru the commissioner explained that the administration of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf had already approved the sum of 31 million naira for the printing of Joining Instructions to be distributed free to pupils and students proceeding to Secondary Schools across the state.

He revealed that the distribution exercise of the printed Joining Instructions would commence starting from tomorrow Wednesday, adding that pupils/ parents are now expected to go to their respective Schools to collect free of charge.

“In an effort to encourage our pupils and build confidence towards their educational career, the present administration printed enough joining instructions and would be distributed starting from tomorrow Wednesday to the pupils who completed their primary six processing to Junior Secondary Schools free of charge,” he maintained.

The Commissioner further cautioned that the ministry would deal with any school Head Teacher or Teacher found selling the Joining Instructions to parents for whatever reason.

“I want to categorically state that the ministry is going to take serious action against any person found selling the Joining Instructions for whatever reason and that may lead to the suspension of the person involved,” the commissioner warned.
