KNHA Okays Ganduje to Secure 10 billion Loan For Infrastructure

The Kano State House of Assembly has approved the request of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to secure the sum of ten Billion Naira (10,000,0000,0000) loan facility from a commercial Bank for infrastructural development.

This was contained in a letter transmitted to the House by the Executive Arm of government and was read in the floor of the House by the Speaker Hamisu Chidari which after a series of deliberations the House adopt and approved the letter for the state government to secure the loan facility for the purpose stated in the letter.

The latter said if secured, the money will be used in procurement closed circuit camera television CCTV, optic cybers in strategic locations and headquarters of newly created Emirates among others.

The loan will be paid in ten years (10 years) with five percent interest.

The Kano state parliament has ordered the stoppage of corners shops at the wall fence of Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH).

This is sequel to a motion of urgent public importance tables before the honorable house by member representing Fagge Constituency and was seconded by member representing Wudil Alhaji Nuhu Abdullahi Acika.

Alhaji Tikur Muhammad said the construction of shops at the main entrance of the hospital along France road is a threat to patience and the general public.

The House has mandated its committees on Health, Environment and Land to paid a working visit to the Hospital and report back their findings to the House next week Tuesday.
