KNSG Appreciates Processions At the National Agric Show

Kano State Deputy Governor and also state Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo has expressed his appreciation on the orderly processions at the 2023 National Agricultural Show holding at Karu, in Nassarawa State.

The Deputy Governor Represented by the Director Agricultural Services of the State Ministry For Local Governments, Alhaji Ibrahim Lawan, the Deputy Governor while going round some of the pavillions allocated to local governments from Kano for the week-long event.

He said the Agric show as an annual event was aimed at creating avenue for the participating local governments, Agro-allied Agencies and other stakeholders to showcase and explore their potentialities for the improvement of agricultural services in the country.

In statement signed by information officer state ministry for local government and chieftaincy affairs Dahiru lawal Kofar Wanbai the he Deputy Governor, described the theme of the 15th edition of the Agricultural Show, ” Towards The Realisation of Presidential Declaration of Emergency on Food Security” as apt and timely as the nation is in need of paradigm shift to modern agricultural techniques for the production of enough food in Nigeria.

Comrade Aminu Gwarzo commended state local governments for participating in the Show expressing optimism that Kano State will emerge the overall winner as the case was in the previous years affirming the commitment of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf administration to improve the agricultural sector.

The chairman of forum of Heads of Agriculture department of 44 local governments, Alhaji Suleiman Isyaku Dakata, who is also the head of department of Agriculture of Kano Municipal local government, thanked the state government for approving and supporting the participation of local governments from Kano state pledging to do their best for better result.
