Kano State Primary Health care Management has directed for the conduct of monthly sanitation exercise at all the six zonal offices under the state primary health care management board.
The Director General of the Board Dr. Mohammed Nasir Mahmud gives the Directive during a general sanitation exercise of the board headquarters and its premises.
Dr. Nasir said, the exercise is part of the present administration resolve in ensuring a clean and conducive environment for the staff to conduct their schedule of duties in a clean and healthy environment.
In a statement signed by information officer state Primary Healthcare Management Board Maikudi Muhammad Marafa the Director general also directed all the 6 zonal directors as well as all head of medical departments at the 44 local government areas in the state under the board to conduct a similar exercise at their respective areas so as to ensure a clean and healthy environment at all levels.
He then commended all the staff for their full participation during the conduct of the sanitation exercise at the board headquarters.
In his remarks, the director environment and public Health of the Board Alhaji Sani Abdu Ungogo described the sanitation exercise as timely and commended the effort of the director general of the board for the support and provision of all necessary logistics for the successful conduct of the sanitation exercise.
Part of the activities conducted include, general sanitation of the board headquarters and its premises and planting of flowers for the beautification of the board premises.
