KNSG Provides Investment Opportunities for Economic Transformation — Kan-invest DG

The Kano State Government KNSG says would continue to provide more investment opportunities to the willing investors as means of economic transformation.

The Director General Kano investment promotion Agency and Diaspora Hajiya Hama Ali Aware disclosed this in a chat with journalist in her office.

She maintained that Kano being the Gate way to West African Markets, is reached with available natural and human resources and would continue to partner and support investors to establish Public Private Partnership projects especially in areas of technology, renewal energy, manufacturing industries, Agricultural value chain among others.

She said “Giving rooms for investment opportunities will remain the priority agenda of Ganduje’s administration as job creation entails the most basic good governance of any administration”.

“So, Kano being the most popular state in Nigeria and one of the largest non-oil economy in the country, and through the commercial orientation of our people, we are able to offer easy access to investors, entrepreneurs, innovators and partner within the ecosystem of investment around the whole world” she revealed.

She added that investment in Kano provides several benefits to the willing investors that could not be achieved anywhere due to the historical origin of the state as sub-saharan trade center for many centuries.

In a statement signed by Director public enlightenment of the agency Balarabe Abdullahi quoted Mrs Aware as saying that the state had the largest labour force, perfect business environment as well as adequate investment promotion acts that turned it to be more attractive for investors.

Hama Aware further stated that the administration of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje had done alot in giving all the necessary supports to the Agency to ensure effective and efficient investment service delivery in the state.

She pointed out that the state had earlier developed policies structural reforms process, enhanced strategic to expand the inflow of investment and creating good atmosphere for investors.

“The Agency partake several investment engagements which have successfully secured more than1 billion USD investment in to the state with several others in the pipe line”, said Mrs Aware.

According to her “As for the ease of doing business, Kano state has been moving consistently towards the top of the chart of ease of doing business and that is why we are inviting investors all over the world to come to Kano and invest” she said.

While assuring investors for a befitting working environment, the Director General explained that the Agency had taken necessary stage and process to safeguard any investment that comes in to the state, stressing that their door would remain opened for more investors in all sectors of national economy.
