Kano State Government says strengthening the work force for effective and efficient service delivery at local government levels will continue to have special attention.
The state Deputy Governor of the state and also s Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs Comrade Aminu Abdussalam stated this during a two day workshop for director personal management and chieftaincy treasures from the 44 local governments area.
In a statement signed by information officer state ministry for local government and chieftaincy affairs Dahiru Lawal Kofar Wanbai the Deputy Governor represented by the outgoing Director Admin and General services for the ministry who is the current Permanent Secretary of the ministry for Higher Education, Muttaka Iliyasu said as part of the Kano state government’s initiative to ensure local government areas discharge their mandates effectively for the betterment of residents of the state.
The local government areas boss in Kano noted that Kano state governments will continue to invest hugely in training and retraining of the staff members for optimum performance hence the need to ensure that participants pay attention on what will be transferred through out the season.
In a paper presentation titled Pention and Administration for Local Government, Garba Aliyu Gezawa featured that “the increased public interest in Pention matters has been stimulated not only by the force of globalization but also by domestic socioeconomic factors”
In their various remarks, the state Deputy Associatin of Local Government Of Nigeria (ALGON) Chairman and also the Dala Local Government Council Chairman, Ibrahim Suleiman Dan’isele and his counterpart of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees Nigeria Union Local Government Employee (NULGE) Kano state charpter, Comrade Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo said the Training came at a right time, assured that all what they acquired during the workshop will be put into practice.
