KNSG to Conduct Robust RI Exercise in 2023

The Kano State Government has pledged to Conduct a Robust Routine Immunization Exercise for the year 2023.

The Commissioner for Health Dr. Aminu ibrahim Tsanyawa made this known while declaring a 2 day Routine Immunization Annual Work Plan for the year 2023 in Kaduna State.

The Commissioner represented by the Executive Secretary Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board Dr Tijjani Hussaini assured that, the year 2023 will record a Robust on the performance of the Routine Immunization based on a comprehensive work plan at the end of the meeting.

Dr. Hussaini then commended the state government and other Developing Partners for committing huge resources for the conduct of routine immunization and other health related issues in the state.

In a statement signed by public officer, Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board Maikudi Muhammad Marafa said in a remark, the Director Disease Control and Epidemiology Dr. Imam Wada Bello Highlighted on the objectives of the work plan that includes, to review the status implementation of the 2022 routine immunization work plan, highlight the 2022 key Routine Immunization achievement, challenges and recommendations and to develop a comprehensive 2023 routine immunization work plan.

Dr. Bello urged the participants to be committed and Dedicated for the realization of a successful work plan.

The meeting which is a yearly event is attend by the staff of the primary health care Management Board and partners to discuss on a comprehensive Routine Immunization Annual Work Plan.
