KNSG To Establish Boreholes Training Institutions – MD RUWASA

Kano State government will establish water Service training Institution to solve water challenges in the state.

The managing Director of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency Alh. Shamwilu Abdulkadir Isa Gezawa stated this in Kano.

He said the institution will accommodate people that will train on boreholes and water services.

Alh. Shamwilu Abdulkadir Gezawa explained that governor Abba Kabir Yusuf approved the agency to repair 1,500 boreholes across the state while construction of new one’s is on the line .

He charged people in the state to protect the established projects and engage in community services for their own benefit.

The managing director,RUWASA added that the ongoing public Enlightment program on water sanitation and fight against open defection in Eight local government areas is aimed to ensure free open defection, water sanitation and hygiene is to ebsure healthy society.

The affected areas are Rano, Albasu, Ajingi, Gezawa, Rimin Gado, Kura and Karaye local government areas.

He then called on people in the state to support good policies of governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the development of the state.
