KNSG Urged To Constructs Road in Karaye LGA

In it’s plenary session presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, the House called on the state government to construct a road from Unguwar Jaji to Kadafa in Karaye Local Government Area in view of it’s importance to ease transportation and to enhance socioe-conomic development of the people of the affected communities.

The House made the call after receiving a motion in the floor of the House by Hon. Engr. Ibrahim Ahmad (Karaye Constituency) calling on the House to call on State government for the construction of the said road, where the House agreed.

Likewise the State government had been called upon to rehabilitate Joda Water treatment plant that supply water to Gabasawa, Gezawa and Nassarawa Local Government Areas.

This followed a joint motion by Hon. Zakariyya Abdullahi Nuhu Majority Whip, Gabasawa Constituency, Hon Abdullahi Yahaya (Gezawa Constituency) Hon Yusuf Bello Aliyu ( Nassarawa Constituency).

The motion was moved by the Majority Whip Hon. Zakariyya Abdullahi Nuhu where he prayed for the House to call on the State government to rehabilitate Joda Water treatment plant in order to have portable drinking water in the three local government areas.

The House deliberated on the motion and Hon. Aminu Sa’ad Ungogo contributed where he draw the attention of the House to call on the State government for the desilting and dredging of Dams across the state to pave way for the supply of portable drinking water to the people of the State considering the fact that most dams in the State need to be dredge and desilted.

The House agreed on the motion and call on the State government in this direction.

Later, member representing Fagge Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Public Account Hon. Muhd Tukur presents an Audited Accounts of the State on financial year ended 31st December, 2018.

The House adjourned sitting in a motion moved by the Majority Leader Hon. Lawan Hussaini (Dala Constituency) to Monday 18 September, 2023 and was seconded by Hon. Tini Lawan Ajingi (Ajingi Constituency)
