Kano state Contributory management Agency KSCHMA to thoroughly inspect the engaged facilities with huge number of enrollees to ensure effective implementation of the scheme in the state.
The Executive Secretary of the Agency Dr. Rahila Aliyu Mukhtar disclosed this when she received the reports of Standard and quality Assurance department in collaboration with Service Delivery Unit (SERVICOM) on some facilities visited or received complains on the services they rendered to the enrollees.
Dr. Rahila lamented that, the poor services rendered by most of the engaged health facilities despite the huge sum of money pump in to them on monthly basis to take care of the primary and secondary level of care to the enrollees.
The executive secretary added that, most of the private facilities over charged the enrollees on the ten percent and even collected money for the services that supposed to be done free to the enrollees such as basic laboratory investigations covered under Monthly capitation money as well as ANC and the like.
In a statement signed by information officer KSCHMA Muhammad Nura Yusuf said Dr. Mukhtar called on all engaged facilities to improve their services to the esteem enrollees of the scheme adding that its not going to be easy for any facility found wanting in the implementation of the scheme.
She also called on the enrolees to report to the Agency whenever they are not satisfied with the services in their various facilities.
