KSCHMA to partner with NHIA for quality healthcare delivery – Dr. Mijinyawa

Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency says it will continue to give usual co-operation and harmonious working relationship with National Health Insurance Authority Kano State office in its efforts to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

The Executive Secretary of the Agency Dr. Halima Muhammad Mijinyawa stated this when she received the newly State coordinator of NHIA who was at the Agency on a familiarisation visit.

In a statement signed by public Relations Officer KSCHMA Muhammad Nura Yusuf said Dr. Halima Mijinyawa thanks the newly coordinator for the visit, assured a total support for a quality healthcare delivery.

On his part the newly State coordinator National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) Mallam Aliyu Ibrahim said that he was at the Agency for self introduction to the management of KSCHMA and to seek for their continued cooperation, in discharging his duties in the state especially by considering the Agency’s role as an NHIA critical stakeholders in the drive to achieve the Universal Health Coverage.

He also commended the State government under the able leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the attention given to the health sector and KSCHMA for being a pacesetter among other states with similar Organizations.

Malam Aminu Ibrahim assured that the door of NHIA will always be open for work hand in hand with Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency in achieving Universal Health Coverage.
