KSCHMA Will Not Tolerate Maltreating The Enrolees – Dr. Rahyila


The heads of KSCHMA engaged facilities in the state has been urged to improve services in their various facilities and shun the habit of maltreating the enrolees for effective implementation of the State Contributory healthcare scheme.

The Executive Secretary of the Agency Dr. Rahila Mukhtar made the call during the opening of a 2 days in-house training for the heads of Primary Health facilities on ‘’improving quality of care, quality improvement plan and Monitoring and Evaluation tool for Basic Healthcare Provision Fund.’’

She said, the way and manners some of the health worker treated their client in the facilities is very annoying and it always affects the scheme implementation and it will not be tolerated any more.

Dr. Rahila described the training as timely and called on them to use what they learn from the training in their daily practices in order to achieve Universal Health Coverage for all residents of Kano state.

In a statement signed by the information officer KSCHMA Muhammad Nura Yusuf said the training was organised by Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA) in collaboration with CHESDA consulting limited with the aim of building capacity of the personnel involved in the implementation of the scheme for effective service delivery.
