The Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board (KSPHCMB) in Collaboration with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has organized a 2 day capacity building workshop for local government administration officers and their assistants on Human Resource Information Management System (HRIMS).
This was contained in a statement signed by PHCMB public relations officer Maikudi Muhammad Marafa which was made available to journalists in Kano.
The statement said remarking, the Executive Secretary, Kano state Primary Health Care Management Board, Dr. Tijjani Hussaini, represented by the Director Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation, Bashir Sanusi stated that the purpose of the workshop is to educate the participants on Health Resource Information Management System, its operational guidelines, and what is expected to be carried out on continuous basis at administrative level, for management and planning.
He stressed that, the workshop is also aim at equipping the participants on the new Health Resource Information Management System software and how to operate it; update the participants knowledge of the importance of human resource for health; as well as engaging the participant in the transition from paperwork to digital.
The Executive Secretary then express the need for the participants to use what they have learned during the workshop so as to enhance their performance at their various place of work.
