NDLEA Kano Command to Partners KCPC in Minimizing Proliferation of Expired Products

The Kano State Command of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA has assured it’s commitment to partnership with Kano State Consumer Protection Council KCPC in minimising the proliferation of damage and expired products in the state.

The state commandant of the agency stated this while presenting some expired Hollandia Yougurt and Chi products.

This was contained in a statement signed by Director public relations and enlightenment of the KCPC Sabo Yahaya Aliyu and made available to Radio Nigeria Pyramid FM Kano.

The statement said the Commandant represented by the Assistant Commander of Narcotics Nuradeen Abdullahi, said the products were confiscated during the agency raid on suspected drugs dealers.

He explained that the products include one thousand six hundred and sixty three cartons of expired Hollandia Yougurt and one hundred fourty four pieces Can of CHI-Active Juicy.

The Commandant. pointed out that due to the commitment and zeal of the KCPC efforts in tackling fake, adultrated, damage and expired products, the command deem it necessary to hand over the products to the council.

Receiving the products, the acting Managing Director of the Council Alhaji Baffa Babba Dan Agundi represented by the Senior special Assistant to the Governor in the Council Alhaji Salisu Muhammad commended the effort of the NDLEA office adding “it’s in line with the present administration effort to rid damage, expired and sub-standard products in our markets”.

He said the council is working round the clock to protect Consumers right in ensure sanity in conducting business especially for small, medium as well as big business.

The acting Managing Director assured the council all the necessary support and cooperation in ensuring it’s success in Kano.I
