The Nigeria number four Oparaoji Uche has emerged champions of 2022 Dala hardcourt Tennis championship after beating unseed player Ekpeyong David, 6/0, 1/6, 7/6, in two hours and ten minute highly compitative match.

Oparaoji emerged winner of the 35th Dala hardcourt tennis for the first time in his fifth appearance and also received one million naira.

Ekpeyong David has became the first tennis player to reached the final from preliminaries round in the history of the competition.

Shehu Lawal and Musa Muhammad have won the men’s doubles troph after defeated Lawal peter and Timibra Godsgift, 3/6, 7/5, 10/8 in the final.

Also, Edwards Marylove has retained her title after defeated Oiza Yakubu 6/2, 6/0 in ladies single final and also she is going home with six hundred thousand Naira (N600,000).

Among the dignitaries that graced the closing ceremony are, the chairman Kano state sports commission Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Galadima, vice president of Nigeria Tennis Federation Alhaji muhammad, Retired General Halliru Akilu, the chairman Dala hard court Tennis championship Alhaji Bashari muhammad Gumel among others.
