Polio: Kano Gov’t To Immunize 3.9m Children Under Five For April Exercise – Dr. Labaran

Kano state government has assured its commitment children under five healthy through immunization.

The state commissioner for health Dr Abubakar Labaran Yusuf stated this at the flag off April 2024 polio (nOPV2) exercise at Ungogo local government area.

He said Kano state government through state ministry for health complete everything possible for the success of the exercise throughout 44 local government areas of the state.

The commissioner pointed out that charges parents to give all the necessary support for the success of the exercise for bringing out their children to the nearest centers.

Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf called on all the 44 local government interim officers to make sure attending the evening briefing during the exercise.

In his speech, the District Head of Ungogo Local government (Magajin Malam) Alhaji Ahmad Abdulkadir Chedi assured their support for the success of the exercise.

Speaking earlier, the Ungogo Local government interim officer Alhaji Sani Abdu commended the state ministry of health for choosing the local government for the flag off.
