He said the venture was also to make farmers understand the value of new generation seeds towards their productivity.

He noted that the group would work with International Agencies desirous of helping Nigeria’s seed sector for the benefit of Nigerian farmers.

The President said the association’s Mission also includes working with and supporting Research Institutes and Universities for the development of early generation seeds for the benefit of the seed industries and Nigerian farmers.

He explained that the association would work to raise the value of seed industries by working with financial institutions to make financial access affordable and less cumbersome.

He said the association would establish a suitable office complex with working facilities in Abuja and in the six geo-political zones in the country.
