Universal Health Coverage Day: Enroll Into KSCHMA for Quality Healthcare Delivery — Dr. Tsanyawa

The Kano state government expressed it’s determination in providing quality healthcare delivery to the timing populace.

The state commissioner for Health Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa stated this briefing journalist on the commemoration of 2022 Universal Health coverage (UHC) day.

He said since the inception of present administration, Kano state remains at the forefront for the realization of various human capital developmental initiatives especially the health sector.

“The universal Health coverage day which has the theme ” Build the world we want: A Healthy future for all” is the first of its kind in the history of Kano state Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA), which is one of the noble ideas of enhancing quality healthcare delivery system by his Exellency the executive Governor of Kano state Abdullahi Umar Ganduje” the commissioner said.

He called on the general public to take advantage of Universal Health coverage day and enroll into the state Contributory Healthcare programmes that have been designed to equitably provide health coverage to all residents in the state and contribute in the drive for the actualisation of universal Health coverage by the year 2030.

The commissioner explained that, during the week there will be a launching of Kano state Contributory Healthcare Management Agency Ten years strategic plan, student’s Contributory Healthcare programme operational Guidelines, claim protocol handbook and Roll-up banner containing primary services as well as visitation to orphanages homes and commissioning of 44 local government area liaison offices which are to decentralize the activities of the agency.
