We ‘ll Train Youths on Different Vocational Skills Says Unguwar-Rimi

The Kano state ministry of Science Technology and Innovation has reiterated one of the state Government objectives of employing the teeming Youths through different vocational skills to be economic self reliant.

The Commissioner of the ministry, Idris Garba Unguwar Rimi stated this during inspection visit to some facilities under the ministry, in Wudil Local Government Area.

In a statement by Samira Baffa, Public Relations Officer, of the Ministry, the Commissioner said the ministry have four facilities at different locations used for training the Youths in the state.

The statement said the facilities inspected during the visit: included Generator, Football and Leather Cutting Machine, used for making Shoes and Football which is going to be used for vocational training.

The Commissioner promised that the Center will soon be renovated, stressing that the machines will be services

He maintained that the ministry will also purchased all the necessary materials for the center to be utilized.

Unguwar Rimi added that, the Youths will be trained in the centre with a view to improving their economic standard and viability.

Earlier, Gwani Yakubu Hashim Wudil Hisba Board Commander expressed his appreciation over the visit and assured that the machine provided for the centre will be safe.

He commended the Commissioner and his entourage for the visit stating that the facilities will help Youths of the Area.
