We Promises To Prioritize Activities of Solid Minerals Sector In Its Programme

The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, has expressed its willingness to support the Ministry of the Solid Minerals Development to project its activities aimed at actualizing the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to diversify the sector.
The Director General of FRCN, Dr Mohammed Bulama who made the remark when he led his management team on a courtesy call to the Minister of the Solid Minerals Development said though the Corporation, had been plague with numerous challenges but hoped that with the commitment and track record of the President, it would overcome to ensure it actualize its mandate to uplift the people and unit the nation.
Dr Bulama noted that the Solid Mineral sector was critical to the economy of the country and as such would create a Special Desk to promote the activities of the ministry.
“We have a special stake in this ministry as FRCN, we have a cooperate responsibility to do all we can to assist this ministry to attain all its objectives and so we are going to give the ministry maximum publicity , we will consider it a special project , so we will create a special desk that would promote the activities of this ministry “ Dr Bulama promised.

The Minister of the Solid Mineral Development, Dr Dele Alake who appreciated the visit told the Director General that in an effort to pursue the dream of the present administration to diversify the economy, it would explore possible ways which included publicity to drive the course.

Dr Alake expressed confidence on FRCN and its team because of their vast knowledge on issues and urged them to do more to propagate the activities of the sector.

“Propagating the policies and programmes and projects of this government falls within your purvey and since is what you have been doing before this government came to be, you are on a farm ilia terrain and to that extent , we’re very confident that you will achieve stated objectives “.Dr Alake said.
He described journalism as tasking but also an enterprising profession for the intellectual;

“the deadline pressure through the entire process in the chain of production and any hitch in the process will cause a cumulative delay or problem at the end of the day so we are always very mindful of this and that has become inherent in us to perform anywhere we find ourselves. And since you assumed duty , we have seen changes . I am so happy you’re the one spearheading the federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria and of course , you’re too conversant with the renewed hope agenda which you marketed during the campaign with all of us”he affirms.

They both promised to collaborate in the interest of the economy and the country at large.
