We’ll Restore KSCPC’s Integrity Soon — Baffa Babba

The Acting Managing Director of Kano State Consumer Protection Council (KSCPC) Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi has pledged to restore the integrity of the council within the shortest period of time.

In a statement signed by public relations officer of the council Musbahu Aminu Yakasai quoted the managing director as saying this in a meeting with the management staff and Inspectors in the council’s conference hall immediately after he resumed duty.

This followed his re-appointment by governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to oversee the affairs of the council pending the appointment of a substantive managing director.

Dr. Dan Agundi said the council has lost its credibility in the state while promising to work tirelessly to move the council forward without looking at the back.

The Acting Managing Director commended the good effort of the former Managing Director General Idris Bello Danbazau Rtd saying that the former MD played a vital role towards steering the affairs of the council.

While speaking on the Inspectors, the Acting Managing Director said he will work closely with all of them without expelling anyone and then seek for their maximum cooperation toward sanitising Kano state against fake, expired and unwholesome products.

He then called on the good people of Kano to continue giving their support to the council in order to achieve the set objectives.
