We’re Committed to Staff Welfare — KNHA Clerk

The leadership of Kano state house of Assembly (KNHA) has assured their commitment in ensuring that the welfare of every staff was protected.

It also said attainment of organisational goals and objectives in both public and private sectors had been attributed to staff commitments and dedication towards optimum outputs.

The Clerk and Head of Legislative Service in the Assembly, Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa made this known during a meeting with Parliamentary Staff Association PASAN, Kano State House of Assembly branch held in Kano.

Gezawa then urged them to be more dedicated to service and be steadfast in upholding best Legislative practice in accordance with global trend to make the Assembly one of the best among it’s contemporaries in the nation.

In a statement signed by press secretary of the assembly Uba Abdullahi also quoted Garba Bako Gezawa as further soliciting the cooperation of the executive of the Association to always be at top gear in awareness creations among members of the Association so as to continue putting their best in ensuring objectives accomplishments in the House.

He then assured them that the House would continue to carry everybody along on all matters related to staff welfare and development.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Staff Association PASAN, Kano State House of Assembly branch, Comrade Bashir Yahaya said they were at the office of the Clerk to further cement the already existed cordial working relations between the House and the executive of the Association and appealed to the Clerk for more welfare package to the Staff which he described as a panecea to effective service delivery.

He then thanks the Speaker, Presiding Officers and all the Honourable Members of the House for their selfless service to humanity through the instrumentality of Law making, representation and oversight functions, pointing out that such hectic engagement is what make Kano a conducive environment for socioeconomic development in the Nation.

He assured the Clerk that the Association would soon come up with some modalities that would gingered and boost the morale of its members like end of the year awards to deserving personalities who Excell in their different engagements among others.
