The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company KEDCO says they have restored power to four local government areas in Kano Metropolis whom experience power outage during the weekend.
This was contained in a statement signed by Deputy General manager corporate communication, KEDCO Ibrahim Sani Shawai which was made available to Journalist in Kano.
Recall that the affected areas is situated under Nassarawa, Tarauni, Kumbotso and Kano municipal local government areas.
The statement read “This is to inform the general public that the 60MVA transformer at Dan Agundi transmission station that developed fault, affecting Zaria road and CBN 33kv had been rectified”.
It said “In view of this, power supply had now been restored to Farm Center, Tarauni, parts of Nassarawa GRA, Hausawa, Hotoro, Kar Kasara, Sallari, Unguwa Uku, Naibawa, Yan Lemo, Masarauta communities all in Kano State”.
“We herewith appreciate all our numerous customers for their understanding during the period of outage as we pledge improved service delivery”, added the statement.
