YAFYDOF: Shun Political Thuggery & Violence, Ex-FRCN Zonal Director Tells Youth

The youth in the country have been urged to distance themselves from engaging in political thuggery.

Former North-East Zonal Director of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN Malam Yahaya Abdullahi Maikano gave the charge during the 7th Hausa Fulani Youth Development and Orientation Forum HAFYDOF annual conference held in Kano.

Maikano said engagement of youth in political thuggery truncate as well jeopardize the future of youth in Nigeria.

He explained that engaging youth in Social vices and political thuggery breeds bad eggs, provide unpatriotic leaders and also bastardizing the system.

Earlier, the Chairman HAFYDOF Emirate Council Abdul’aziz M. Tibibi, said in Bauchi and some other states, the Association constructed a training center for training of women and youth in entrepreneurial skills as well as supporting orphans.

On their visit to the Emir of Gaya in Kano State Aliyu Ibrahim Gaya urged members of HAFYDOF to do more for the betterment of Nigeria and pledged his continued support to enable them carry out their activities effectively.

On his part, the National President Hausa Fulani Youth Development and Orientation Forum HAFYDOF Abubakar Sadiq Galadima, said the Association that has been in existence for the past seven years has empowered thousands of youth in different skills.

During the visit, he highlighted a number of occasion partake by the association to include visitation to orphanage home, presentation of materials, presentation of lectures and confinement of traditional title to five members of the Association.
