Zamfara Student Union Advocate Welfare of It’s Members

The National Union of Zamfara State Students, NUZAMSS, has advocate for the welfare of their member nation wide to enable them to deliver execellenttly in their academic activities.

The newly elected President of the Union Comrade Ismail Sani Albusawi gave the charge at a press conference held at the NUJ Sectariate Gusau, the Zamfara State Capital .

Comrade Ismail Sani said their administration will give priority to the welfare of students especially those in tertiary institutions and called on state and federal governments to ensure that, they settle all the bursery allowences ownered by the students.

He commended the effort of Zamfara State government for taking appropriate biodata of the state students with a view to settle all their financial benefits and called on the state government to address all the lingering issues of students of the state.

The NUZAMSS President added that, the union is now organising a sensitization programs for secondary students aimed at encouraging them to choose their educational career in furthering their knowledge.

Comrade Ismail also called on youths especially students do not allowed themselves to be use by some selfish politicians as political thugs to achieve their goals.

He also use the opportunity to call on Zamfara state students to ensure that they have collected their voters card for them to elect leaders that would bring unity and meaningful development in the state and the country in general.

On the issue of insecurity, the President also urged their members to contribute positively towards ending this issues in the state and the country in general

He also advocate for prayers for peace and stability to prevail in Zamfara, northern region and to the whole nation.
